How to download Instagram data

  1. 1 Open Instagram
  2. 2 Go to "Settings and activity"
  3. 3 Open "Accounts Center (Meta)"
  4. 4 Tap "Your information and permissions"
  5. 5 Tap "Export your information"
  6. 6 Select the correct Instagram account
  7. 7 In "Customize information", keep only "Followers and people/pages followed"
  8. 8 Remove all other categories to export only the data needed for analysis
  9. 9 Set date range to "All time", format to JSON, and media quality to Medium
  10. 10 Tap "Start export" and wait for the Meta email
  11. 11 Download the .zip file and upload it here
